With wedding season going on it’s an apt time to pamper yourself for a fresh enhanced look and boost your confidence. Since there are many treatments available in the market so we got Dr. Jayti Kansaria to share some tips and cosmetic treatments to revitalize your dull skin.
Simple Natural therapies and Homecare: For Dry skin, wash your face with plenty of water and mild cleansing lotion to keep it hydrated and free from toxins. In case of oily skin, use deep cleansing facewash containing salicylic acid, glycolic acid as ingredients.
Tomato for skin fairness: Apply tomato juice on face and wash after it dries up in 15-20 minutes approx. Regular use helps in de-tanning and maintains skin radiance.
Chemical peels and Medifacials: Chemical peels are skin friendly fruit acid solutions like citric acid, glycolic acid, lactic acid and malic acid which remove the damaged outer layers of the skin. Medifacials are used to deep cleanse, exfoliate, hydrate and refresh the skin in a stepwise manner depending on your skin type. Medifacials include a range of treatments like skin polishing, infusion of serums (containing Vitamin C, skin lightening and exfoliating agents), face mask etc.
Laser hair reduction for fine facial hair: Try laser and get significant results in just few sessions. LightSheer Desire, the new generation of Laser Hair Reduction promises short treatment time, comfort with enhanced results.
Lasers Peel, Laser Toning and Laser Resurfacing: Laser peel and toning (Nd-YAG Laser) helps lighten unwanted pigmentation, blotchiness as well as improve skin tone and fine lines. Laser resurfacing (CO2 Laser) for reversing signs of aging, improving skin tone, open pores and acne scars. These laser procedures tighten skin, remove age spots and induce collagen production, thus giving a youthful appearance.
Microneedling and Mesotherapy: Micro-needling uses tiny needles to treat fine lines, wrinkles and acne scars. Post-procedure redness and tiny pinpoint bruising could last a few days, so plan your sessions accordingly. Other interesting options include Mesolift, Mesoglow and Mesolightening, which infuses potent vitamins, antioxidants, vitamin C, hyaluronic acid, glutathione etc. into the skin through multiple injections spaced uniformly over the face.
Mesobotox: It involves injecting multiple small doses of BOTOX into skin of face to reduce action of superficial facial muscles responsible for fine lines. It also improves facial texture, shine and tightens pores without affecting deeper muscles, thus creating a more natural appearance.
Although the above mentioned treatments (especially chemical peel, laser treatments) show best results after multiple sessions (at least 4 to 6 sessions), a single end-moment session of medifacial could probably just save your day!! In case you have good number of days in hand and are willing to indulge in future sessions, chemical peels and laser rejuvenation are promising options in majority cases with longer lasting results.
Tip: Continue your daily sunscreen application morning and afternoon, along with a night cream recommended by your skin expert for best results.
