It improves digestion as it contains two types of fiber soluble and insoluble (3.6 g for every 100 g). If eaten in good quantity it improves bowel movement and also protects the colon by removing carcinogenic chemicals out of the large intestine.
As it is rich in anti-oxidants and phytonutrient properties along with its content of Vitamin C, jackfruit can cure various types of cancer like lung cancer, gastric cancer, skin cancer, breast cancer and prostate cancer. The presence of these antioxidants eliminates the toxins produced by the body as well as the free radicals which are harmful to us.

Jackfruit contains a great amount of iron and the right concentration of iron in our body helps treat disorders like anemia. Besides this it also helps in improving the quality of blood.
