Orange Beetroot Mint and Cinnamon Detox Juice

It is important to look after your health, now more than ever and the best way to do that is by including nutritious food items in your diet. Here is an immunity booster and detox drink  introduced by Chef Tanuj Nayyar, Executive Chef from Jaypee Residency Manor, Mussoorie. 

Here is the recipe for Orange Beetroot Mint and Cinnamon Detox that you can easily make at home. 

Orange Beetroot Mint and Cinnamon Detox

Ingredients

 

Oranges- 450 gms 

Carrots- 80 gms 

Beetroot- 50gms 

Lemon- 1 nos 

Mint- 2 springs 

Cinnamon stick- 1 no 

Turmeric- 20gms 

Ginger- 20gms 

Method

For Decoction:

Ginger, lemon, mint leaves, cinnamon

– Grate fresh ginger and fresh turmeric. You can also use turmeric powder. 

– Boil in the water together with a cinnamon stick

-Reduce the flame  and keep it aside

– Allow the mixture to cool down

For Juice:

oranges, carrots, mint, beetroot, and lemon

-Wash carrot, beetroot, and orange. 

-Wash fresh mint leaves.

– Extract the juice out of it. 

Mix the decoction and juice together and serve fresh. The ingredients used in this immunity booster detox drink can be easily found and is power-packed with Vitamin C.
