Kadha is a herbal drink that helps in boosting immunity. It is made using herbs like tulsi (basil), dalchini (cinnamon), kalimirch (black pepper), shunthi (dry ginger) and munakka (raisin), etc. These herbs and spices contain various immunity-boosting properties and other healing compounds. Other than strengthening your immunity, it also fights infections. That is why it is recommended to drink in coronavirus times. The herbs are very beneficial in the flu season.
Ingredients Required:
- Few Tulsi leaves
- 4-5 seeds black Pepper
- 1 small piece of ginger
- 1-2 sticks giloyi
- Ajwain
- 1 cup of water
- 2-4 seeds clove
- 1 tbsp cardamom
- 1 tbsp cinnamon
- Grated turmeric
- Honey (optional)
Method:
- To start with, add one cup of water in a bowl. Then add all the ingredients in the bowl and bring them to boil.
- Let the mixture boil till the water reduces to half a cup. Once it is done, drain the water.
- Add a little bit of honey in it to make it sweet.
- Then drink it.
- Once prepared, you can re-heat it.
