People who smoke are at the high risk of getting cataract and age-related macular degeneration. It can also damage the optic nerves which have a severe effect on your vision.
Use Right Makeup on Eyes
If you like doing Makeup on your eyes then make sure they are of good quality. Poor products can harm your eyes and results in infection. Be it an eye shadow, liner or mascara, don’t forget to remove it from a cleanser before you sleep.
Give Rest
If you have eye strain working on computers or doing close work, you can follow the 20-20-20 rule: Look up from your work every 20 minutes at an object 20 feet away for twenty seconds.
Right Food
Food plays a major role in maintaining your eyesight and keeping you away from other infections so take a lot of vitamins and green leafy vegetables in your diet. According to a research, it is also proved that people who take higher levels of vitamins C and E, zinc, lutein, zeaxanthin, omega-3 fatty acids DHA and EPA are less likely to develop early and advanced AMD.
