Fitness trainers are quite literally always on their feet. Most of them have to train their clients throughout the day and so they fuel themselves accordingly. While most of them try to include nutritious items, not all fitness trainers have similar eating patterns.  Some depend on meat and dairy products for their protein needs while others have vegetarian or vegan eating habits.

Here is what fitness trainers may eat throughout their day.

Breakfast

A typical breakfast mix for George Lloyd (Barry’s Boot camp Trainer and a fitness model) includes oats, almond milk, blueberries, and bananas. He consumes lesser carbs, more protein, and fat throughout the day.  A lead trainer of the gym also shared what his breakfast includes protein shake with added frozen berries and a few greens. Some trainers also eat eggs, boiled or scrambled according to their preference.

Lunch

The lunch includes a portion of protein like chicken breast, steak or salmon and for vegan and vegetarians, Tofu stir fry, lentils, and beans. The portion may vary from person to person and the activity level but mostly the meal is a mix of proteins, carbs, and healthy fats.

Snacks

Trainers need a boost of energy so they usually don’t miss snacking on lighter stuff like fruits with yogurt, nuts or anything they prefer. Some also love to have protein-packed peanut butter balls, depending on their diet plan.

Dinner

Some people are used to light dinner so soup and bread or a salad is their typical dinner. Another common dinner option for trainers is stir-fried veggies with protein and fat of their choice.

This is what the diet of a trainer may look like. Apart from the above-mentioned things, people usually depend on espresso for their caffeine dose (had during the day) or end the night with a cup of green tea.  The diet plans are altered according to their needs and adaptations. Also note that you shouldn’t try to copy anyone’s diet, even if it’s a trainer. Make sure you eat according to the needs of your body.
