Every other day there is a new meme that takes over the internet and keeps us entertained. Bernie Sanders meme fest was the latest one.  The picture of United States senator Bernie Sanders from President Joe Biden’s swearing-in ceremony went crazy viral, sparking several hilarious memes. Joe Biden’s cut-out from the picture was used to make other posts with quirky captions. Not only pictures, but animated drawings, art, etc. of Bernie Sanders also got the artists at work. Besides this his pictures were also turned into food art. This creative edible Bernie Sanders artwork made with vegetables treated all the foodies and gave people one more reason to laugh. 

Ahwatukee artist Sandra Marshall recreated Bernie Sanders’ picture on her plate, she used veggies like kale, cauliflower, potatoes, and eggplant. The edible Bernie Sanders salad was a replica of the politician sitting socially-distanced on a chair perfectly. Crossed legs, folded arms, oversized casual jacket, and the iconic knit mittens, all the elements of the viral picture were carefully copied on this canvas, err, plate.

Sandra Marshall posted a picture of her unique creation on her Facebook page that soon went viral. 

Famous American author Stephen King was one of the first people to notice this masterpiece of food art and tweeted the picture on his official handle, and wrote: “Edible Bernie. Kale, cauliflower, and new potatoes.”
