All of us are missing our favorite foods from particular restaurants, and recently I was craving for KFC style chicken popcorn at home. There is something about these crispy small bites that make us miss them so I decided to make them myself and here is the quick and easy recipe
Ingredients:
250 gms chicken (boneless)
2 tbsp cornflour or all-purpose flour
1 egg
1 cup bread crumbs
1/4 tsp salt
3/4 tbsp ginger garlic paste
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp onion powder (optional)
3/4 tsp red chili powder or paprika or cayenne pepper
oil for deep frying
Method:
- Take a bowl, add paprika or red chili powder, pepper powder, ginger garlic powder or paste, chaat masala or any seasoning and salt.
- Mix it well and taste the mixture.
- Cut the chicken into tiny bite-sized pieces. Make sure you cut them into small pieces.
- Now add the chicken pieces into the mixture and mix well
- Now add the flour to coat the chicken.
- Put
- the egg and again mix everything.
- Now cover the pieces with bread crumbs.
- Heat oil in a pan
- When the oil is hot enough, check by dropping a small piece of bread crumbs.
- Then drop pieces one after another in the oil. Do not stir until a minute.
- Fry until golden brown, then take them out and serve with a dip.
