Foods That Can Induce Menstruation 

Many women suffer from irregular periods because of their current lifestyle and  irregularities in the menstrual cycle can cause weight gain, facial hair, mood swings, breast tenderness, and bloating. Irregular periods also lead to unnecessary stress which further affects the health. The best way to deal with irregular periods is by changing your lifestyle, losing weight, and a healthy diet. Regular intake of ginger in your diet can reduce the irregular timing of periods. You have to take grated ginger with one tablespoon of honey to induce periods. If you are having irregularities in periods make sure you consume ginger. 

  • Vitamin- C rich foods 

Vitamin C rich foods can be really helpful for getting periods on time. Papaya consists of carotene that can stimulate estrogen hormone which can induce periods. Some fruits like pineapple, kiwi, lemon, oranges, and mangoes are rich in Vitamin-C eating them regularly can be beneficial. 

  • Turmeric 

Turmeric is also an emmenagogue that can stimulate blood flow in the uterus and pelvic region. Turmeric contains an antispasmodic effect on the body, which expands the uterus and induces menstruation. 

  • Jaggery   

Mix jaggery with ginger, sesame seeds, turmeric, and carom seeds and chew it with a glass of warm water. Drink this daily to induce periods and even prepone them. 

  • Beetroot 

Beetroot is loaded with iron, calcium, and folic acid and this vegetable reduces water retention and bloating which most women experience during periods. You can include it in your salads or drink its juice. 

Coffee

High in caffeine, coffee stimulates oestrogen and increases blood flow in your pelvic area. This can result in early arrival of your periods.
