Signs of Vitamin B Deficiency that Should Not Be Ignored

Signs of Vitamin B deficiency

Vitamin B deficiency appears with subtle symptoms in the body but when not paid attention to, it can be the reason behind many health issues and lifestyle diseases.  Habits like frequent consumption of alcohol, not eating micronutrient-rich food and excess consumption of processed food can be the reason why you may have Vitamin B deficiency.

If you have been observing some changes in your body over the time, it is time to look at these signs to understand if it is the result of Vitamin B deficiency.

1. Constant fatigue

If you are tired constantly even though you are sleeping enough and exercising, there are chances that this may be due to deficiency. Low levels of Vitamin B in the body can cause anemia which reduces the production of red blood cells, hence fatigue.

2. Irregular heartbeat

Since the blood supply is affected, the body may try to make up by increasing blood supply and hence your heartbeat may be faster and irregular at times.

3. Jaundice

The eyes may start to appear yellow and eventually, the skin would turn yellow too. This is due to less RBC production.

4. Sudden weight loss

If there is unexplained weight loss then it could be because of poor absorption of nutrients in the body.

5. Digestive issues

Problems like constipation, diarrhea and other issues can also be a sign of Vitamin B deficiency.

6. Dizziness

If you feel dizzy a lot of time, it could also be an indication.

If you have been experiencing a few of them, make sure to reach your doctor as soon as possible and get the required supplements.
