Skincare Rules for Women Who Shave their Body Regularly

These days some girls are avoiding going to parlors and in that case, shaving seems to be the best option. It is a great and easy way to get rid of unwanted hair, but if not done properly it can damage your skin. Though it is an easy way to remove unwanted hair but it can damage your skin if not done in the proper way. If you believe in shaving to get the smooth and hairless skin, then you need to take extra care of your skin. Follow these rules to get that super soft and healthy skin after shaving:

When you are shaving, prefer using warm water over cold as it relaxes and loosens your skin,  opens up pores and gives you a clean and close shave.

  • Exfoliate

Never forget to exfoliate especially after shaving. Exfoliating your skin just before shaving removes dead cells and dirt and gives you a clean surface to shave. It also unclogs pores and hair follicles reducing chances of ingrown hair.

  • Don’t dry shave

If you don’t want to lose your skin’s moisture then apply a thick layer of shaving cream. This adds a protective layer and prevents cuts and razor burns. The ones with sensitive skin should never skip this step. If you don’t have shaving foam you can use a hair conditioner.

  • Moisturize your skin after shaving

Once you are done shaving do not forget to apply moisturizer on your skin. This provides the needed nourishment.

  • Shave at night

Shaving rashes are bad and spraying perfume onto freshly shaved skin can cause more irritation. During sleep, every cell in our body renews and repairs, so shaving before bed allows your skin to repair overnight. So always shave one night before you step out.
