Dishes That Taste Better in Monsoons

Reasons why it’s bad to be a tea lover

Monsoon is a wonderful breeze, a sigh of relief from summers, and what defines the monsoon best is the delicious snacks that we eat in this season. Other than the calming atmosphere, the added joy of some crunchiest snacks makes it more enjoyable. And a little snack doesn’t hurt anybody right? So here are some delicious monsoon dishes that we love:

Rainy season mei bhutta nahi khaya toh kya khaya. The roadside bhuna hua bhutta totally defines the monsoon season. Enjoy stove hot bhutta with some masala and lemon on it.

  • Pakoras

A cup of hot tea and a plate full of delicious and crunchy fritters is the best in monsoon. You can choose from a large variety of range such as onion, potato, spinach, paneer or other pakoras. Enjoy them with mint and imli chutney.

  • Momos

A plate full of hot steam momos served with garlic chilli sauce, tastes so much better in the monsoon season.

  • Chicken tikka

Who doesn’t love roasted chicken with mint chutney? It is the perfect snack for non-vegetarians.

  • Samosa

Gone are the days when there was only aloo samosa, now there are different types of samosa available like pasta, pizza, noodles, paneer and much more to enjoy on a rainy day.

  • Ram laddoo

I love enjoying these cruncy and delicious moong daal ke laddoos on a rainy day. They are best served with grated radish and mint chutney.

  • Vada Pav

Butter pav with crispy potato bonda served with chili powder and chutney, tastes amazing. This Mumbai delicacy is now loved all around the country.
