Easy to Make Healthy Snacks!

Finding it difficult to stick to healthy eating habits? There are many snacks that can be easily made at home and are also the perfect solution for your junk food cravings. These healthy snacks are high in nutrients and low on calories.

Egg chaat 

Make boiled eggs delicious to eat by turning it into a chaat. Add onion, tomato, green chili, chat masala, and a bit of salt to the boiled eggs and enjoy this nutritious snack. 

Beetroot chips 

It is the perfect alternative to regular fried chips if you are craving some. Beetroot is nutritious and is rich in Vitamin B and C. Beetroot chips can be made using only 2 ingredients: olive oil and beetroot slices. Preheat the oven to 350-degree Celsius and put the tray of beetroot slices drizzled with olive oil and seasoning of your choice in the oven. Take the tray out after 20 minutes. 

Hummus 

Hummus dip has become a favorite go-to snack for people who want to watch their weight. This dip can be had with vegetables like carrots and cucumbers. Put half cup mashed chickpeas, 1/4 cup lemon juice, 1 small garlic clove, 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin, 2 tablespoons of olive oil, salt, and a few spoons of water in a blender and make a thick and creamy paste out of it. Your hummus dip is ready. 

Chilli lemon popcorn 

This is the healthiest snack you can have while binge-watching your favorite series. Add popped corns to a container with lemon and chili powder/flakes. Give it a good shake and voila! Your movie-time snack is ready. 

Fruit and Yogurt 

If you are looking for something sweet but light then this is the best combination. Cut your favorite fruit and add yogurt on top and enjoy this delicious snack. You can also drizzle some honey on top to make it a bit sweeter 

Nut trail Mix

Dry fruits and nuts are very filling and nutritious. Add almonds, cashews, walnuts, sunflower seeds along with herbs and spices of your choice. Mix them well and store them in a cool and dry place.
