Anti-Inflammatory Tonics To Boost Lung Health

1.    Anti-inflammatory tonic

This tonic is blended with orange, carrots, lemon, and celery and is loaded with vitamins and antioxidants. It is one of the best juices to clear your lungs.

Ingredients:

•    1 orange

•    1 fresh ginger

•    4-5 peeled carrots

•    ½ lemon

•    3-4 stalks celery

•    1 inch of peeled and grated fresh turmeric

Procedure:

•    Place all the ingredients – orange, lemon, celery stalks, fresh turmeric, carrots and ginger into a blender.

•    Process for a few minutes or until smooth.

This will boost your immunity and reduce the effects of air pollution.

2.    Radish Detox smoothie

Radish is a good source of Vitamin C and it removes free radicals from the body. It also helps in relieving congestion and respiratory issues.

Ingredients

  •     1 bunch of radish
  •  ½ cup mixed sprouts: sunflower, alfalfa, radish
  •    ½ cup chopped radish leaves
  •  1 ripe banana
  •     ½ cup fresh or frozen raspberries
  •     ½ cup fresh or frozen strawberries
  •    1 ½ cup coconut water
  •   ½ cup Thai style coconut milk
  •    Pinch of salt

Procedure:

  • Put radishes, sprouts and radish leaves in a blender. Add coconut water. Process for 30 seconds or so.
  • Add berries, banana, salt and coconut milk. Process until smooth.

Smoothie

  • 1 pineapple center (contains the most bromelin)
  • 3 Celery stalks (the greener the better)
  • 2 Carrots
  • Small handful of Cilantro
  • 1 Inch Ginger Root (peeled)
  • 1 Cup of Coconut Water

Directions

  • Place pineapple, celery stalks, carrots, cilantro and ginger root into a blender. Add coconut water. Process for 30 seconds, or until smooth.
