  • Include exercise in your routine

Once your doctor approves, start to keep yourself active by including exercise in your routine. You can start slow and decide the pace for yourself but if you have not been active in the past, try not to go fast.

Life is not always a bed of roses and eventually, you may have to face difficult situation yourself. Find a suitable way to manage your stress and you can even ask your family members for support if needed.

  • Monitor your blood pressure and cholesterol

Elevated blood pressure, or hypertension, puts added stress on your heart and blood vessels. Engaging in regular exercise, eating a low-sodium diet, and maintaining a moderate weight can work wonders.
